The PM's Lost It
Monday, May 28, 2007
I read recently in the newspapers that the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh has appealed to the various MNCs in India to reduce salaries for their employees to bridge wealth in-equity in our country.
This comes as a shock as the PM, once, was the finance minister of the nation. With due respect, this is one of his most nonsensical statements. This one must have come as a result of extreme pressure from the left parties. Increasing wealth is one thing and this is totally another thing. How can one develop the nation while he is trying to push once class of the country backwards. He is forgetting that most of the income tax comes from the same set of people whom he feels should be paid less.
The amount of work that these guys with fat pay -checks do is nothing compared to what anybody in the PM's office is doing. So, one can never justify this.

Everybody knows Manmohan singh is the weakest PM India has ever had. I bet this MNc thing is one stupid scheme from the UPA cabinet trying to pull of a badly timed election campaign.

With India making it's mark Globally through these multinational companies, It's a mockery that the PM doesn't realize this.
Or, He would have said this due to some political pressure.
Politicians never do anything good.
