Absolute waste of time

The title of this post refers to the changing of name of Bangalore and 12 other cities. What is the government thinking? Changing the name will erase the image people have about Bangalore. Bangalored has been declared a slang in the US of A. Making Bangalore Bengaluru is a very bad idea. There is also a lot of costs involved in this process.
The Government is not realizing its folly. They say that they don't want a English flavour and want to revert to the "traditional" names. They intend to give every city its old name. Hey, wait a minute, here's a hitch: Mangalore is going to be renamed Mangaluru. Mangaloreans will know very well that this lovely place was once called Kudla but never Mangaluru! So CM and co., Any explanation?
There are several problems which are plaguing the state at the moment and the nomenclature issue is certainly one of it. So, don't you people think that this baseless stupid activity should be stopped.

wats in a name....!i think bangalore has earned a good name.....!and changing a name wouldn't change opinions... nor wuld it show patriotism...

I knw that they want to show that our country has got its own tradition and blah blah!.
but instead they shud stop those dirty things which are influencing our country's cultrue.
they provide security to mega malls instead of providing security of job to the thela valas who hav been deprived of their jobs.
